Field Notes
Two pages, one shell, one navigation state.
Moving from the Laboratory page to this one should feel like walking to the next room in the same building, not like leaving the site. The header, the identity, and the active navigation state all carry over; only the page viewport changes.

- The Executive Becomes a Systems ComposerA Fieldnote prompted by Bob Morse's experiment with Claude Code, examining what happens when deep domain judgment can increasingly become executable and what that may mean for the RPM Machine.

A Second Ledger, Denser This Time
Filesystem discovery
Reads one directory per Grove and one Markdown file per page; never recurses into images/ or artifacts/.
Manifest validation
Requires name, kind: grove, and a non-empty navigation list; every navigation entry must reference a page that exists on disk.
Cross-page navigation
The active page is compared against every navigation entry once, in the shell, rather than by each motif re-deriving it.
Asset resolution
A relative **Image:** reference is checked against the filesystem before the page is allowed to render, and rewritten to a route that streams it from the Grove's own directory.
